Sura AL-KÂFIROÛN
| بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
| Bismi Llâhi Rrahmâni Rrahîm |
| In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. |
| قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ |
| Qol yâ ayyouha l-kâfiroûn |
| Say: “O you infidels! |
| لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ |
| Lâ a ‘boudou ma ta ‘boudoûn |
| I don’t love what you love |
| وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ |
| Walâ antoum ‘âbidoûna mâ a`boud |
| And you don’t worship what I worship. |
| وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ |
| Walâ ana ‘âbidou mmâ ‘aba-ttoum |
| I don’t worship what you worship. |
| وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ |
| And you don’t worship what I worship. |
| To you your religion, and to me my religion |
| لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ |
| Lakoum dinoukoum wa liya dîn |
| To you your religion, and to me my religion |
It is in this Sura that Allah Azawajal lets us know that there are two kinds of people: believers and disbelievers or infidels.
