How does the wedding proposal work?
Islamic prescriptions do not define the practical details of the marriage proposal. Usually, the suitor comes to the girl’s home. However, there’s nothing to prevent initial contact being made with the girl’s legal guardian elsewhere, paving the way for an official meeting in the family home.
