Associating Partners with Allah
At a time when the world is losing its values, and the population is suffering from increasing stress, anxiety and malaise, the subject of this new edition is of the utmost importance, as it is the cause of all these afflictions. Nevertheless, its refutation resonates as a remedy for this man-made chaos; a liberation from all servitude, all constraints, all systems not in line with Islam, the path of submission to God the Creator.
Our Lord reminds us – for our souls are bound by an original pact – in the Holy Quran:
I have not created jinns and men except that they may worship Me.
(Those who scatter /n°51, v.56)
This means that the ultimate reason for our existence is the worship of Allah ; to deviate from this will inevitably lead mankind and his world to ruin.
Thus, it was to strengthen our fitra – the natural inclination to worship Allah – and to respond to the Lord’s will, that all the Prophets and Messengers were sent to affirm the oneness of Allah(al-Tawhîd).
